Announcements: Grade reports are to be sent home once week. They are to be signed and returned, if not, students are not eligible. 

Sports:  Girls' basketball practice is Wed and Thursday from 3:00-4:00.  Boys soccer is Tuesday and Wednesday from 3:00-4:00

8th Grade Math

Weekly standards:  8.F.4  Linear Equations and Slope. Y=mx+b  Construct a function to model a linear relationship between two quantities.  Chapter 5.1 and 5.2 

DAILY AGENDA

1. Kahoot practice writing expressions from word problems.

2. 5.2

Homework: Complete homework packet, due Friday.

7th Grade Math

Weekly standards:    7.RP3 Use proportional relationships to solve multistep ratio and percent problems.  7.EE.2 Understand that writing an expression in different forms in a problem context can shed light on the problem and how the quantities are related. Percent Increase and Decrease Chapter 5.1 and Rewriting percent equations 5.2
