December 18-22

Announcements: Grade reports are to be sent home once week. They are to be signed and returned, if not, students are not eligible. 

Sports:  Girls' basketball practice is Wed and Thursday from 3:00-4:00.  Boys soccer is Tuesday and Wednesday from 3:00-4:00

8th Grade Math

Weekly standards:  8.F.4  Linear Equations and Slope. Y=mx+b  Construct a function to model a linear relationship between two quantities.  Chapter 6.1 

DAILY AGENDA

1.  Check to make sure all benchmarks are complete.
Cell museum walk

2.  Make an onion cell slide and complete questions and drawings.  Be sure to take one good photo to send me.
3. Make an elodea slide and do the same.
4.  Make a cheek cell slide and do the same.

Homework: Complete homework packet, due Friday.

7th Grade Math

Weekly standards:    7.RP3 Use proportional relationships to solve multistep ratio and percent problems.  7.EE.2 Understand that writing an expression in different forms in a problem context can shed light on the problem and how the quantities are related. Percent Increase and Decrease Chapter 5.1 and Rewriting percent equations 5.2
