January 22-26th

Announcements:

Grade reports are sent home every Tuesday. They are to be signed and returned, if not, students are not eligible.

Cross Country is in progress.  Practices are Tuesday and Thursdays from 2:50-4:00.  There is a meet this Friday.

8th Grade Math

Weekly standards:  8.F.4  Linear Equations and Slope. Y=mx+b  Construct a function to model a linear relationship between two quantities.  Review and finish functions.

DAILY AGENDA:  Start the New Year right!  Who are we?  What are we doing here?

1. Assemble dream box 

2.  Kahoot two step equations

2.  Finish practice from yesterday and turn it in.

3.  Two-step equations with variables on both sides

4.  Practice with kahoot

Homework: Finish Dream box due Tuesday and  homework packet due Friday.

7th Grade Math

Weekly standards:  Begin Algebraic Expressions 7.EE.1  Apply properties of operations as strategies to add, subtract, facto and expand linear expressions with rational coefficients. 7.EE.4 Use variables to represent quantities in real-world problems.
