January 16-19th

Announcements:

Pentathlon Scrimmage is this Friday.  We are getting closer to the big event!

Second quarter grade reports were sent home today, please review and call if you have any questions.
Grade reports are sent home every Tuesday. They are to be signed and returned, if not, students are not eligible.

Cross Country is in progress.  Practices are Tuesday and Thursdays from 2:50-4:00.  There is a meet this Friday.

8th Grade Math

Weekly standards:  8.F.4  Linear Equations and Slope. Y=mx+b  Construct a function to model a linear relationship between two quantities.  Review and finish functions.

DAILY AGENDA:  Start the New Year right!  Who are we?  What are we doing here?

1. Work on Dream box 

2. Turn in graphing Desmos exercise and summarize findings 

3. Finish 6.2 and 6.3

Weekly standards:  Begin Algebraic Expressions 7.EE.1  Apply properties of operations as strategies to add, subtract, facto and expand linear expressions with rational coefficients. 7.EE.4 Use variables to represent quantities in real-world problems.
